Why you are passionate about financial planning?
I enjoy building close relationships with my clients as I work on helping them accomplish their goals along life’s path. I’m a problem solver, I like people, and I love my job. I enjoy the challenge of being presented with a situation, and then relied on to figure out the best solution. I pride myself on being ahead of the curve on everything wealth management-related!
It’s the ultimate compliment to become the trusted advisor to the family.
What are your day-to-day duties?
No two days are alike in my business! Although, at the highest level, I am always speaking with clients, monitoring portfolios, planning, and strategizing. I am constantly seeking out new investment and planning opportunities while interfacing with our clients’ other team members to provide seamless service. Many clients refer to me as their financial quarterback or personal CFO.
What is your proudest professional accomplishment?
Ultimately, my proudest accomplishment is when we become a trusted advisor to a client relationship. Like a marriage, I know this takes time and is something that must be earned.
Additionally, this year we were awarded the Best Multi-Family Office under $5 billion by Private Asset Management (PAM). This gave recognition to all our team’s hard work and efforts to go above and beyond for our clients.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received, professionally or personally?
A professor once told me to never stop learning, and I took that to heart. Although it might seem cliché, self-growth is extremely important to me and I’m continuously looking for ways to improve both personally and professionally. So, whether it’s reading, researching, or exploring new investment ideas, I’m always trying to expand my knowledge base.
What makes you qualified to do what you do?
I love working with people, and I’ve been in this business since 2004. Before I co-founded Keystone Global Partners in 2010, I spent most of my career at Merrill Lynch in its ultra-high net worth division, The Private Banking and Investment Group, advising some of the nation’s most affluent clients. Additionally, I’ve earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. The CPWA® is an advanced designation for those seeking the latest, most advanced knowledge and techniques to address the sophisticated needs of ultra-high net worth clients. I’m a contributor to both TechCrunch and Forbes and write about personal finance and wealth management topics.

What do you like to do outside of work?
I love outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, catch-and-release fishing, and biking. I’m also actively involved in and on the Board of Directors of Search and Care, which is a not-for-profit focused on providing help and support for older people in the community who need assistance managing life’s daily activities.
